Kozhikode: Malayala Manorama Sampadyam, Geojit Financial Services, and Calicut Chamber of Commerce and Industry will jointly organise a one-day free seminar on shares and mutual funds on January 25.

The programme will be held at the Chamber Bhavan, near Rajendran Nursing Home. The event will begin at 9:30 am on Saturday.

Geojit Chief Investment Strategist Dr VK Vijayakumar will deliver the keynote address on ensuring better returns through equity and mutual fund investments, and things to remember while making investments. Geojit Regional Manager Antony Joseph will answer queries from the participants.
Kozhikode South MLA Ahamed Devarkovil will inaugurate the function. Calicut Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Vineesh Vidhyadharan will preside over it.

As part of the programme, there will also be a quiz competition related to the investment sector. Winners will receive prizes from Geojit and Manorama Year Book. Stalls of Malayala Manorama and Geojit will also be set up at the venue. The first 100 registered participants will receive a one-year free subscription to Manorama Sampadam magazine worth ₹360.
