Biotech entrepreneur Aardra Chandra Mouli wants science accessible to all

Noted biotech engineer and entrepreneur Aardra Chandra Mouli will be one of the speakers at Manoramaonline Geojit Techspectations 2018, a premier digital summit, which will be held in Kochi on November 24.
Aardra is the founder and MD of Aeka Biochemicals Pvt Ltd, the first fully women-owned environmental biotech company in India. Based in Thiruvananthapuram, her passions vary from reading and dance to developing effective bio-based solutions for environmental remediation. She also works to make science and entrepreneurship accessible to all those interested in these fields, especially women.
Aardra is one of 50 young leaders selected from around the world to form the inaugural cohort for the British Council Future Leaders Connect programme, an executive policy and leadership programme at the University of Cambridge and the UK Houses of Parliament. She is a British Council Jubilee Scholar, and was awarded a full scholarship for pursuing her Masters in Management at Warwick Business School, UK.
Aardra was invited by NITI Ayog to meet the prime minister and participate in the Champions of Change nation-building programme held in August 2017. She has received much appreciation and several awards for her work, including the COSiDiCi (Council of State Industrial Development and Investment Corporations of India) National Award for Outstanding Entrepreneurs, 2018, the New Indian Express Devi Award, 2016, the Professional’s Conclave Woman Entrepreneur Award, 2016, and the RED Shakti Award, 2017.
She has been a TEDx speaker, and a panelist at the India Today Conclave 2016.
