Small honeybees collect honey from a variety of sources, from small grasses to coconut trees. Therefore, small honey has high medicinal value. Small honeybees do not sting, making honey extraction easy. However, precautions should be taken to prevent bees from entering your ears, nose, etc., while collecting honey. Do not squeeze the honeycombs with your hands.
This can contaminate the honey with bacteria from your hands, causing spoilage. Use a clean spoon or other utensil to extract the honey. It's good to leave the collected honey in the sunlight for a day or two. It's natural for water droplets to mix with the honey collected from plants. Exposing it to sunlight helps remove this moisture. Sunning also helps the honey last longer without spoiling.
