In connection with the World Heart Day celebrations, Malayala Manorama’s web application for appointment with doctor, Quickdoc.com, has joined hands with the Baby Memorial Hospital in Kozhikode to kick off the Heart Doc 2019 program.
The patients can avail heart diagnoses at a discount from 29 September to 15 October at the hospital. On 29 September, which is observed as the World Heart Day, a free diagnosis camp would be held at the Kozhikode Sarovaram Biopark from 7 am onwards. Those who take part in this camp can get their blood pressure, blood sugar and BMI tested for free.
The Heart Doc 2019, in association with the Ex Service Men Association, would also conduct a heart disease diagnosis camp for the public, on 2nd October, at the Morikkara ALP School.
A road show, as part of the promotion of the Heart Doc 2019, was flagged off by Dr. Ashokan Nambiar, senior cardiologist and head of the BMH Heart Center, at an event held in the Baby Memorial Hospital in Kozhikode. Dr. Anju Miriam Alex, director of BMH, Gracy Mathai, CEO and Suresh Thampi, Marketing Head of the BMH took part in the event.
