Features galore, stunning designs fill this budget house in Aluva

Pramod and Mary dreamed of building a beautiful house, with three bedrooms, on their 5 cents plot in Aluva, Kerala. The D Lark Architects had designed a comfortable house with all the required facilities in the contemporary architecture style. Besides, the designers are proud that this house could be constructed well within the budget allotted by the family.

The spacious car porch, the front yard and the small garden enhances the overall look of the elevation. The box designs, patio and the stone claddings play vital roles in making the house look chic and stylish.

The formal living area is closer to the sit-out. Meanwhile, the adjacent stairway also acts as a TV unit. The ground floor has the dining area, kitchen and a bedroom as well.

Though the interior walls mostly don white hue, the highlighted walls and the beautiful furniture add a splash of colour. The dining area is simple and the dining table top is in plywood mica lamination. Chairs of the dining table are done in teak wood.

The kitchen boasts of the incredible charm of glossy finish lamination. This high end kitchen is furnished in the purple and white colour theme. Meanwhile, the counter top is paved with granite.

The stairway leads to the open balcony where a frosted toughened glass roof has been installed. Artificial grass is paved on the floor here. The beautiful cane furniture and bamboo curtain add an earthy charm to this area.

There are two bedrooms in the upper floor. Excellent ventilation, splendid colour combinations and the wardrobe units make the room extremely beautiful and comfortable as well.

The designers had prepared a 3D plan before the construction of the house began. De Lark principle designer Linson says that the family had been very open and receptive about the ideas and designs. This encouraged the designers to come up with spectacular designs and features that perfectly suited the family’s dreams and aspirations.
