This elegant house in Kozhikode is 'royal' in many ways

Junaid, the owner of the Royal Enfield showroom in Kozhikode has incorporated a royal touch in his brand new house as well. As the plot has an area of just 6 cents, the house has been designed by meticulously utilizing space. The showrooms of the Royal Enfield are usually done in the rustic theme. Junaid has tried to bring in the elements of this theme to his own house as well. The interiors are chic and exude classy elegance.

Pristine white hue adorns exterior walls. Claddings in wooden finish add the perfect contrast here. Formal and family living areas, dining space, kitchen and six bedrooms are arranged in this beautiful house which has an area of 3000 sq ft. Wooden benches are fixed on either sides of the sit-out. Car porch isn’t specially built and the small front yard is paved with natural stones which add a rustic charm to the exteriors.

The elegance of marble could be seen in all the main areas while vitrified tiles are paved on the bedroom floors. The dining table, in the shape of a fish, is an eye-catching feature. Here, he ceiling is in double-height. This helps the interiors look vast and spacious.

Claddings in glossy laminate finish are pasted on the wall beside the stairway. The hand railings are in elegant wood and glass combinations. Wash area and a light courtyard are arranged beneath the stairway thereby wisely utilizing the spaces.

A sliding glass door in the dining area leads to the beautiful patio. Vertical garden has been set on the boundary walls, decorated with claddings.

Three bedrooms each are arranged on both the floors. The bath-attached bedrooms are designed by giving importance to storage and ventilation. The headboards decorated with charming upholstery work are the highlights of the bedrooms.

The kitchen cupboards are done in plywood and acrylic finish. A pantry counter which opens to the dining area is arranged here. Fridge and oven are arranged as in – built features.

One of the most amazing features of this house is that the interiors look so vast and spacious that one would easily forget it has been built on a mere 6 cents plot.
