Managing curly hair during scorching heat of summer

As summer approaches, the intensity of the sun increases. And coupled with curly hair? Sweat and dirt make it all the more difficult to manage. But don't worry anymore. By paying attention to a few simple things, you can keep your curly hair healthy and clean.
Shampoo usage: During hot weather, avoid using too much shampoo. This can dry out your hair and cause more breakage than usual. Many shampoos and conditioners specifically formulated for curly hair are available in the market, especially those with natural essences. Use these once or twice a week.
Comb usage and hairstyle: People with curly hair shouldn't use combs with fine teeth. A wide-toothed comb is best. Avoid combing immediately after showering. Instead of combing wet hair, use your fingers to gently separate knots. Furthermore, it's better to tie your hair up when going out, rather than leaving it loose. Leaving your hair loose during sunny periods will increase sweating, leading to dirt buildup and odour.
Oil application: While oiling your hair is beneficial, applying too much oil can dry it out. Try to apply oil only to the scalp. Excess oil on the hair strands will require more shampoo, which can further damage the hair.
