Things to keep in mind while applying makeup during summer

Summer is often a season of celebrations. Weddings and other parties are more common during summer. Therefore, going out without makeup is not an option. However, special care is necessary when applying makeup in the summer. Because if you are not careful, the makeup will melt away in the sweat. To avoid such situations, certain things should be considered when applying makeup.
Base Foundation and Primer:
Before applying makeup, ensure a good base foundation. It's important to use a good oil-free moisturizer with SPF content. Use moisturizer whether you are going out or not. Similarly, a primer is also essential for better makeup application.
Use of Bronzer:
Using bronzer will make the makeup look natural. It helps highlight the whiteness of teeth and the brightness of the eyes when you are in the sun. Bronzer should be applied to the high points of the face. Applying bronzer on cheekbones, the center of the forehead, and the chin will give a natural look. Never use it excessively. Powder bronzers are preferable during summer.
Minimal Makeup:
Pay special attention to using very little makeup in summer. A thick layer of makeup can dry out and crack in the sun, making your face look strained. Matt finish makeup is best for summer. Shimmer and sparkle makeup is not beneficial in summer. This can lead to excessive shine and makeup smudging.
Choose Light Colours:
Dark makeup will feel very heavy in summer. Try to choose lighter shades for lip makeup, eyeshadow, and blush.
Lipstick:
A nude shade is ideal. If you are going for minimal makeup, lip balm and nude lipstick are sufficient. Avoid cream-coloured eyeshadow. You can use a matching compact powder along with the eyeshadow. This helps the eyeshadow effect last longer. Minimal eye makeup is safer. If you must use smoky eyes or cat eyes, apply only to the corners. You can give a small wing to the eye using a shade lighter than the liner shade. Smudging this with a brush will give a light smoky effect at the corner.
Blush Stain:
Powder blush washes away quickly in the summer. Therefore, blush stain (gel-based) is better. Don't forget to set it with setting powder.
