Ingredients
200 gms paneer
2 tsp chilly powder
½ tsp pepper powder
½ tsp garam masala
A pinch of turmeric powder
1 tbsp ginger–garlic paste
2 tbsp yoghurt
1 tbsp butter
Salt as required

Preparation
Pick a whole block of paneer rather than smaller cubes
Cut the paneer blocks into desired sizes
Poke holes using a fork on the pieces
Prepare the marinade by mixing chilly powder, pepper powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste and salt
Add yoghurt and mix into a marinade paste
Toss the paneer pieces in this marinade
Keep them aside for at least 20 minutes
Heat 1 tbsp butter in a nonstick pan
Add the marinated paneer
Cook until both sides are charred and cooked well
The delicious paneer tikka is ready
Enjoy it with mint or coriander chutney
