Churros is fried pasty dough stick that is sweet and tasty. Churros lovers say the chewy snack tastes similar to cinnamon doughnuts because of its tender inside layer but is a lot more fun to eat due to its crispiness.

Here is how to make this traditional Spanish dish, that's also popular in France, US, Philippines and more, at home.

Ingredients
1 + ¼ cup water
4 tbsp sugar
¼ tsp salt
4 -5 tbsp butter
1 ¼ cups all purpose flour
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla essence
½ tsp cinnamon powder
Chocolate sauce

Preparation
Boil water in a thick bottomed pan
Mix butter, sugar and salt when the water boils rapidly
Now add the all purpose flour
Mix well into soft dough
Transfer the dough into another bowl
After the dough has cooled down, add vanilla essence and eggs
Mix well until it is soft
Fill a piping bag with the dough
Secure the tip with a star nozzle
Heat oil in a pan
Reduce flame before pressing the dough into hot oil
Fry until the churros are golden brown in colour
Roll the fried churros in a mixture of powdered sugar and cinnamon powder
Dip the churros in chocolate sauce and enjoy!
