Enjoying some homemade dark chocolate is now easy as it requires just a few ingredients. Health experts say that dark chocolate is an excellent source of antioxidants, soluble fibre, iron, magnesium and more.

It can also be given to children as the dark chocolate doesn’t contain any artificial additives. Here is how to make dark chocolate at home.

Ingredients
4 tbsp ghee
½ cup powdered sugar
A pinch of salt
20 gms coco powder
¼ tsp vanilla essence

Preparation
Melt the ghee using double boiling method (make sure that the vessel doesn’t touch the hot water)
Add powdered sugar and mix well until it melts
Add a pinch of salt too
Add coco powder slowly
Mix well until it gains a runny consistency
Turn off the flame
Now add vanilla essence
Pour the chocolate sauce into moulds after it cools down a bit
Keep it in the freezer after it cools down completely
Freeze for 2 – 3 hours
Homemade dark chocolate should be stored in fridge
Points to note:
Always take a clean and dry bowl to mix the ingredients
Allow the sugar to melt completely to make the chocolate tastier.
