Ingredients
1 kg pomfret
2 tbsp chilli powder
½ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp pepper powder
1 inch piece of ginger
10 cloves garlic
5-10 shallots
2 sprigs curry leaves
Salt as required

Preparation
Grind the ginger, garlic and shallots with chilli powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder, curry leaves and salt
Marinate the cleaned pomfret with this masala paste
Keep the marinated pomfrets aside for at least half an hour
Heat coconut oil in a pan and fry the pomfrets on low flame
Add some curry leaves in the hot oil 
This would enhance the taste of the fish; besides, it would prevent the fish from breaking apart.
