Are you someone who likes to try out new rice dishes? Here is a simple and easy recipe of carrots, onion and green peas rice.  

Ingredients
1 1/2 cup cooked rice
2tbsp green peas
1 cup grated carrots
1 large onion sliced
2tbsp ghee
3cloves garlic sliced
2 green chillies slit
1tsp urad Dal
1tsp mustard seeds
1tsp jeera
Salt to taste
1tsp whole black pepper
1/4tsp Hing
3 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp garam masala
4 cardamom crushed
Few raisins

Preparation
Heat oil in a pan, add urad Dal, mustard seeds, green chillies ,garlic and onions.
Sauté till onions are translucent.
Add grated carrots and green peas stir well add salt and cook for few minutes till the onions are brown.
Add black pepper, cardamom and raisins. Stir well.
Add the ghee and cooked rice. Mix well, adjust the salt and spices at this time.
Garnish with sliced onions and browned onions and serve it hot with raitha!
