Ingredients
1 lemon
1 tbsp jaggery shavings
1 small piece ginger
¼ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp pepper powder
1 cinnamon stick
3 star anise
5 cloves
Tea powder as required
Preparation
Grind the cinnamon, cloves and star anise into powder
Boil some water
Add the spice powder into the rapidly boiling water
Now add the turmeric powder and pepper powder
Add tea powder as well
Add the lemon juice
Finally add the jaggery shavings
Boil for a few more minutes
Pass the tea through the sieve before serving.
