This unique snack combines the goodness of spicy coconut chutney with boiled eggs. Interestingly, this crunchy snack looks and tastes amazing. Here is the very easy recipe of egg chutney balls which can be prepared in just 10 minutes.
Ingredients
4 quail eggs (boiled)
¼ cup coriander leaves
¼ cup mint leaves
1 cup grated coconut
4 green chillies
½ tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp ginger
½ cup bread crumbs
1 hen's egg
Preparation
Grind coconut, coriander leaves, mint leaves, ginger and salt in a mixer jar without adding water
Add lemon juice and mix well
Cover the boiled eggs with this green chutney
Dip each ball in beaten egg and roll in the bread crumbs
Deep fry the balls in hot oil until golden brown
You could also use hen's eggs instead of quail eggs.
