Gothambu pradhaman is a sweet treat to celebrate Vishu, Onam or other festivals. Made from gothambu (broken wheat), this payasam is delicious and a must-to-have recipe in your list.

Ingredients
4 tsp ghee
300 gms boiled broken wheat
2 cups thick coconut milk (first extract)
3 cups thick coconut milk (second extract- thick)
3 cups coconut milk (third extract- thin)
400 gms jaggery
25 gms cashew nut
1 cup thinly sliced coconut

Preparation
Pressure cook ( 6-7 whistles) broken wheat till it becomes soft
Keep it aside
Keep an urali (traditional vessel) and add 2 tsp of ghee
When ghee gets heated, transfer cooked broken wheat
Sauté for few minutes
Add third extract of coconut milk
Boil for a few minutes.
Then add jaggery
When jaggery gets melted, add second extract of coconut milk
Boil for 7-10 minutes
Lower the flame and add first extract of thick coconut milk
In a pan, add 2 tsp of ghee
Roast cashew nut and coconut
Transfer it into gothambu pradhaman
