Ingredients
2 cups button mushrooms
2 onions
1 tomato
4 garlic cloves
1 tsp chopped ginger
1 bay leaf
1 small cinnamon stick
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp oil
Salt as required
1 tsp coriander leaves
1 cup water
Preparation
Wash the mushroom and chop off the top of the base stalk.
Slice them vertically into two pieces.
Grind chopped onions, tomato, garlic, and ginger together to form a puree.
Heat oil in a pan.
Add the bay leaf and cinnamon to the pan and saute for 1 minute.
Add the puree to this pan and stir well.
When the gravy turns thick, add chili powder, turmeric powder and garam masala, stir well.
After three minutes, add the cleaned mushrooms to the pan.
Saute for 2 minutes.
Add water and cover the pan.
Let the curry boil till the mushrooms get cooked.
When the mushrooms are cooked well, turn off the stove.
Sprinkle the coriander leaves over it and serve hot.
