Milk and sugar reduced and roasted with coconut and ghee till it browns. Mouthwatering, isn't it? Easily made, and one of the best sweet treats you can find in northern India during Diwali.

Ingredients
4 litres milk
400 gm sugar
200 gm coconut grated
100 gm ghee
100 gm cashew nuts chopped

1 tsp cardamom powdered

Preparation
Mix together the milk and sugar and boil it till it thickens up really well
Add the ghee and grated coconut, and cook till the mixture browns
To this, add the chopped cashew nuts and cardamom powder. Remove from the fire
Immediately, transfer to a flat tray and leave to set
Once it sets, cut it into desired shape with a sharp knife and serve with a garnish of cashew nuts
