Mixed fruit custards are refreshing desserts that can be whipped up in a jiffy. Here is the recipe.
Ingredients
2 cups milk
2 tbsp custard powder
½ cup sugar
¼ cup apple (chopped)
¼ cup grapes
½ cup pomegranate
1 kiwi (chopped)
1 banana (chopped)
Preparation
Mix the custard powder in ¼ cup milk in a bowl; there shouldn't be any lumps
Meanwhile, boil the remaining milk in a saucepan
Into it add the custard mix slowly
Keep stirring
Add the sugar and mix until the sugar is melted
Turn off the flame when the mixture begins to thicken up
Allow the custard to cool down completely
The custard would be thickened after it cools down
Beat the custard well to make it smooth
Add the fruits into the custard
Keep the fruits custard in the fridge for two hours
Mixed fruits custard tastes best when served chilled.
Note: You could add any fruit of your choice. However, make sure that the custard has cooled down completely before adding the fruits.
