Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tbsp coco powder
¾ cup powdered sugar
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
1 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla essence
50 gm melted butter
2 tsp oil
1 tsp vinegar
For the chocolate syrup
¼ cup powdered sugar
2 tsp coco powder
1 tbsp corn flour
¼ cup water
¾ cup whipping cream

Preparation
Pass the all purpose flour, coco powder, powdered sugar, baking soda and baking powder through a sieve
Into a bowl add the milk and the vanilla essence
Add the sifted dry ingredients into this bowl gradually
Mix well
Now add the melted butter, oil and vinegar as well
Fold the batter well
Pour this batter into a greased cake tin
 Bake in a pre heated oven for 10 minutes
To prepare the chocolate syrup, mix ¼ cup sugar, 2 tsp coco powder and 1 tbsp corn flour in ¼ cup water
Heat it over the stove until the syrup becomes thick
Allow the chocolate syrup to cool down completely
Mix the whipping cream in 2 tbsp chocolate syrup 
Beat well until the cream turns fluffy and firm
To assemble the pastry, cut the cake into two discs
Sprinkle sugar syrup on the first layer 
Spread the cream evenly on it
Place the second layer on top of it
Sprinkle the sugar syrup and spread the cream
Pour the chocolate syrup or the ganache over the cake
Cut the delicious chocolate pastry into pieces and enjoy.
