The delicious Maniputtu or paal kozhukattai, cooked in the creamy coconut milk and sweetened with sugar is indeed a kid's favourite recipe. Let's take a look on how to make it.

Ingredients
1 cup rice flour
1/2 cup water
Salt as per taste
Sugar as per taste
Grated coconut
3 tbs coconut milk

Preparation
To a vessel, pour the rice flour and add salt as per taste and mix well.
To this add 1/2 cup of boiled water and mix well to make the dough.
Make small balls with it.
Put these in a €˜puttu maker€™ along with grated coconut and steam for about 5 minutes.
Heat the coconut milk lightly by adding sugar in another pan (do not over heat, as the coconut milk may curdle).
Finally, put the steamed rice balls in the coconut milk and mix well and that€™s all! Kids will like it for sure.
