Congress leader Rahul Gandhi enjoyed a taste of Kerala as he tried out some delicacies from a small wayside shop in Kerala's Wayanad on Saturday. A photo of the mouthwatering local dishes Gandhi shared on his Twitter has soon went viral.

The Wayanad MP, who is on a three-day visit to the state, had some hot pakkavada and chammanthi, along with kudam kulukki sarbath from an eatery run by Firoz and family at Koliyadi in the district.

Rahul Gandhi also shared photos of this visit to the eatery on his Twitter handle.

"Thoroughly enjoyed a warm Pakkavada, Chammanthi and a refreshing Wayanadan Kutam Kulukki Sarbath at Firos NM‘s family run SS Cool house in Koliyadi. If you are in #OurWayanad, don’t miss to drop by," he wrote on Twitter.

This is Rahul Gandhi's first visit to the state after his MP office in Wayanad was attacked by SFI workers. He had also tweeted photos of this.

Meanwhile, a person, who met with a road accident at Wandoor in Malappuram, was taken to the hospital, under the leadership of Rahul.
