What is the K-pop diet?
This is a unique diet based on traditional Korean dishes and culinary techniques. It mostly contains food grains with bran and unprocessed food items. As this is a perfect diet that could be followed for a longer period, it has gained instant popularity. Koreans claim that this diet is extremely healthy and can make your skin glow. The vitamins, bran and minerals in the ingredients are retained while cooking the food. Besides, fat, sugar and processed food have no place in this healthy diet. There are a few K-pop exercise regimes too that could ensure the overall health and well-being of your body. However, these exercise regimes need not be followed as it is. Instead, you could do simple exercises or workouts that suits you.
K-pop food
In most diets, you have to give up your favourite foods. However, in this method, you can enjoy your favourite meals too. Even though the K-pop diet is based on Korean cuisine and cooking methods, you could customise it by adding our traditional ingredients that are equally healthy.
Foods to avoid
Wheat, dairy products, sweets, fat and oily food should be avoided in case you are following the K-pop diet. Do not hesitate to say ‘no’ to tasty hotel food too. Instead of the store-bought juices that are loaded with sugar and aerated drinks, you could hydrate your body by drinking plain water. Include lots of fresh fruits in your regular diet instead of unhealthy bakery items like cakes, pastries and ice creams. There is no place for snacks in the K-pop diet. So, you will have to forget your favourite habit of enjoying a delicious snack with your evening tea.
Include these
Lots of veggies, fruits, rice, meat and fish should be included in the diet to stay fit and healthy. Koreans eat a traditional dish called kimchi that is made with fermented cabbage. We could, instead, have idli and dosa that is made using fermented batter or homemade pickles.
In the K-pop diet, there is no need to fret about the quantity of the food that you eat. As this diet mostly includes veggies and soups that are lighter on the stomach, the calorie intake too would be lower. This is one of the major reasons why the K-pop diet yields result within a short time itself.
