Indian-origin participant Justin Narayan’s kitchen has been announced the winner of MasterChef Australia Season 13 on Tuesday. He competed with two other contestants- Kishwar Chowdhury and Pete Campbell- to take the trophy home on this season's grand finale.

After Sashi Cheliah, 27-year-old Justin is the second Indian-origin contestant on the show to win the title. Justin will be taking home a whopping $250,000 (Rs 1.86 crore) in prize money, along with the MasterChef trophy.

After winning the trophy, Justin wrote on Instagram, “Find people that believe in you. Back yourself. Go hard and hopefully you’ll surprise yourself! Whoever’s reading this I love you.”

MasterChef Australia too wrote about his winning moment on their official Instagram handle. “We think it's safe to say @justinnarayan's mind is blown right now!”

Justin who hails from Perth in Australia has a combination of Fijian and Indian heritage that helped him give an identity to his cooking style as well.

His Indian chicken curry and Indian chicken tacos impressed the judges during the show.
