Moringa leaves and flowers, too, are loaded with essential nutrients. In the North Indian states, drumsticks are a special delicacy. The Prime Minister talked about drumstick leaves paratha which is a delicious flatbread. Finely chopped drumstick leaves are added in the wheat flour dough to make this paratha.

Ingredients
1 cup moringa leaves
1 cup wheat flour
½ tsp ajwain
½ tsp chilli powder
Salt as required
1 green chilli (finely chopped)
¼ tsp turmeric powder
Water as required
Oil as required

Preparation
Soak the moringa leaves for 10 minutes and wash them well
Finely chop the leaves
Mix the chopped moringa leaves, wheat flour, salt, ajwain, green chilli, turmeric powder and chilli powder in a bowl
Pour water as required and mix into soft dough
Make small balls and roll them
Cook on a pan greased with ghee or oil
Drumstick leaves paratha tastes best when served hot with chutney or yoghurt.
