- Water stains could be removed from the kitchen tiles by washing it water mixed with baking soda.
- Spread baking soda in the kitchen sink and scrub it with a sponge dipped in hydrogen peroxide to remove stains.
- Mix half a cup of baking soda in a tablespoon of dish wash liquid. Apply this paste on burner, leave it for 15 minutes and clean with a dry cloth. This effectively removes rust from burner.
- Stainless steel cooking tops can be cleaned using a paste made by mixing baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. Leave this paste for 10 minutes and clean the cook top with a dry cloth.
- Boil lemon/orange zest, vinegar, cinnamon sticks/nutmeg/cloves for half an hour. This concoction will take out the stench from the kitchen.
