Popular singer Shreya Ghosal was witness to a marriage proposal at her special concert, which was attended by thousands of fans on Saturday night. The singer stopped her concert midway after a man expressed his desire to propose to his partner in public. The man introduced himself as Rishi and his partner as Antara. Shreya Ghoshal, who was extremely cooperative, encouraged the man to be careful while making the proposal as the whole stadium was watching him.
“Propose karna to achche se karna (If you plan to propose, do it well). You have one chance. You are doing it in public. Everyone is watching,” she said from the stage. The couple was greeted with loud cheers as soon as Rishi knelt down for the proposal and Antara said yes. Many people shared the video on social media, which was then retweeted by Shreya.

Ghoshal is one of the most prolific singers in India. She is often referred to as the 'Queen of Dynamics''. Ghoshal began learning music at the age of four. At the age of six, she started her formal training in classical music. After turning 16, she was noticed by filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's mother after she won the television singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma. Ghoshal won a National Award for her work in the 2002 film “'Devdas'.

She has been featured five times in the Forbes list of the top 100 celebrities from India.
