Pakistani singer Atif Aslam known for his chartbusters such as 'Aadat', 'Woh Lamhe', 'Pehli Nazar Mein', 'Tera Hone Laga Hoon', among others, has reportedly made his Mollywood debut with the film 'Haal' starring Shane Nigam. The song marks Atif's return to the Indian film industry after a hiatus of nearly seven years. The Supreme court had lifted the ban on Pakistani artists in October last year.
Haal is directed by Prasanth Vijayakumar under the banner of JVJ Productions. Nishad Koya, known for films such as 'Ordinary,' 'Madhura Naranga,' 'Thopil Joppan' and 'Shikari Sambhu' has written the script of the film, which is touted as a musical love story. The film, which will also release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada, is one of the most expensive films in Shane Nigam's career.
Shane Nigam will join the sets of the film in Kozhikode and shooting will begin in the first week of May. The shoot of the film will later progress in Mysore and Jordan.
