A video of a group of women, all in their 70's, grooving to the hit song 'Pala Palli Thiruppalli' from the Prithviraj-starrer 'Kaduva', is going viral on social media. The video, posted by public health activist Dr Roy Kallivayalil, has been retweeted several times, and has won praise from several corners. The women, belonging to the 1966 MBBS batch at the Calicut Medical College, can be seen matching steps to the song in classical style, during an alumni meet titled 'Kumarakam Meet'.

Many people have appreciated the performers-cum-medical professionals, who showed so much rigour and energy, while performing on a stage, even at the age of 75.

"Their energy and enthusiasm at this age reflects their fitness and cool mindset," wrote one person.

Another person wrote: "What a way to celebrate life! so much youthfullness in their hearts," another person wrote.

One netizen couldn't hide his surprise at how many female students graduated from the MBBS batch at the college in the year 1966. “Even the 1966 batch had so many female students... Wow!'”, he remarked.

'Pala Palli Thiruppalli' was one among the most trending songs in Mollywood in 2022. The music was composed by Jakes Bejoy, while Athul Narukara crooned the song.
