This Shobana look-alike is going viral for the right reasons

A viral video of a young woman who looks exactly like veteran actress Shobana during her heydays has perplexed netizens. The woman identified as Sivasri Skandaprasad is a Carnatic vocalist. In the video, which is quite old, Sivasri can be heard singing and speaking about Tattvam and how it works in two different margas.

Ever since the video went viral, surprised statements have been pouring in the comments box. Sivasri’s facial features remind the audience of Shobana in her olden movies. Many even wonder whether the woman in the video is Shobana herself.

Meanwhile, Sivasri is quite active on the social media and has shared lots of pictures and videos. Interestingly, she looks like Shobana in just some of them.

Sivasri is also a noted classical dancer. She has been performing musical concerts and dance recitals at Music Academy, Narada Ganasabha, Sreekrishna Ganasabha and Brahma Ganasabha for more than a decade. A BTech graduate, Sivasri has also done post-graduation in Bharatnatyam. She is the daughter of renowned Mridangam artist Skandaprasad.
