Keerthy Suresh has been in headlines for the past of couple of days. It was rumoured that she is all set to wed a businessman. It was also reported that she will have an arranged marriage, according to her parents Suresh Kumar and Menaka's wish.

However, in a recent interview, the actress has denied the news.

Keerthy Suresh, in an interview to a daily, said that the news about her wedding surprised her. She said, "This news has come as a surprise to me as well. I don’t know how this even started to circulate. Let me make it very clear that I do not have any such plans right now. I’m not getting married any time soon."

Keerthy also added that people should concentrate on important news than spread rumours about her personal life. "I think there are more significant issues that the country is dealing with right now and the focus should be on fighting the Covid-19 pandemic rather than on such unfounded rumours," she revealed.

Wishing everyone to stay safe, she said, "All I want to tell people is to stay safe, maintain social distancing and work towards keeping your loved ones safe."

Meanwhile, on workfront, Keerthy Suresh has a slew of films. While in Malayalam, she will next be seen in Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham, Rang De is her next in Telugu and Annaatthe in Tamil. She will also be making her Bollywood debut with Miss India.
