Aadai directed by Rathna Kumar is all set to get a Hindi remake. The director himself confirmed he will be helming the Hindi version too and that the project will be officially launched soon.

After Rathna Kumar announced the project, reports are rife that Kangana Ranaut has been approached for playing the lead. It is also said that Kangana is yet to sign on the dotted line.

If everything goes right as per the buzz, it will be interesting to see Kangana reprising the role of Amala who had garnered a lot of praise for her performance.

It is said that Kangana will begin work on this project only after wrapping 'Thalaivi', which is based on late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa.

Meanwhile, Rathna Kumar is also part of Thalapathy 64 and is associated with the screenplay of this Vijay-starrer.
