Actress Nyanthara and filmmaker Vignesh Shivan are one of the most adorable couples in South India. Though they haven't admitted their relationship in public, the duo have made public appearance quite often. Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan are back in the limelight together again!

The rumoured couple attended the Athi Varadar festival at the Varadaraja Perumal Temple in Kanchipuram recently and their picture from here is going viral on social media.

The duo were seen with the priests at the shrine dedicated to Lord Vishnu.

Devotees from across India are travelling to the temple town to pray at the shrine, also known as the Devarajaswami temple, for the once-in-a-lifetime event and Nayanthara and Vignesh too joined them.

Twitter is abuzz with pics of the duo. Earlier, there were reports that they will be getting engaged this year and fans are curious if Nayan and Vignesh have finally decided to settle down. Many have even commented how the priests were excited and took snaps of them.

Well, the wooden idol of Varadaraja Perumal, known as Athi Varadar, is taken out of the temple pond every 40 years for devotees to worship. The idol will be kept for viewing for 45 days only and will be placed back under water. ('Athi' means 'fig'; the idol is made of fig wood.)

The unique festival ends on August 17.

Meanwhile, Nayanthara will next be seen in Chiranjeevi's 'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy' and also in 'Darbar' alongside Rajinikanth which is being directed by AR Murugadoss.
