TV actress Juhi Parmar is a popular face with her serial 'Kumkum--Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan' (2002). She was the title winner of the fifth season of 'Bigg Boss' show.

The actress who ended her eight-year-old marriage recently seems to have a troubled time in life of late.

Juhi encountered a near-death experience on Holi which was celebrated last week. The 38-year-old even thought she wouldn't survive.

The scary incident happened at a Holi party at her best friend Aashka Goradia's house. Juhi suddenly started throwing up and her nasal passage choked.

She took to Instagram talking about the whole episode and confirmed that is keeping fine now.

"I was at my best friend, Aashka Goradia's house, from where I was rushed to the hospital around 10:30-11 pm. I couldn't breathe but surprisingly all my parameters medically were fine - the oxygen, the carbon- dioxide, the ECG, the blood pressure etc, were all in place. However, I could feel myself choking and I felt that I wouldn't be able to survive for another five minutes. I whispered to Aashka to take care of my daughter Samairra because I felt I wouldn't survive." (sic.)
