Actor Krishna Kumar’s daughter, YouTuber Diya Krishna’s wedding was a widely discussed topic on social media. Diya had married her friend Aswin Ganesh. Recently, she had revealed that she was pregnant. Now, as she prepares to welcome her baby, she has shared her family members' reactions upon hearing the news.

Her mother, Sindhu Krishna, was the first to speak. “Ozy (Diya) first told me that she suspected she was pregnant. My first thought was to confirm it. There wasn’t any grand congratulatory reaction. Later, we went to the hospital for a test. We didn’t announce it to everyone immediately. Even when we told Kichu (Krishna Kumar), he took it quite casually. But once the test came back positive, we were happy. Ozy has always wanted to get married and have kids at a young age. Since this was her wish, I felt happy for her. The pregnancy tests happened when Ozy and Aswin were planning their London trip. So, I was quite anxious about that journey. I accompany Ozy for everything,” said Sindhu.

“The baby coming home after Hansu is this one. Ozy cannot tolerate even minor pain. Every time we went for a test, there was crying and chaos. I don’t know how she will handle this. She has had vomiting, fatigue, and nausea—just like I did. But unlike me, she is lucky because she has a lot of help,” Sindhu added.

Krishna Kumar also shared his thoughts, saying he was happy and not particularly surprised. “ Ozy and I are quite similar. I got married at 26, just like her, and I became a father at 27. She will also be 27 when she welcomes her child. I feel grateful to hear and experience this news,” he said.

Diya’s sister, Ahaana, admitted that it was difficult for her to accept at first. “I kept thinking—was this really necessary so soon? But later, I realised it’s actually the right time and age. I struggle to accept sudden changes. Until now, I was the first to experience everything in life. But lately, Diya has been doing everything before me, so I get to learn from watching her.” Ahaana shared.
