Saif Ali Khan's sister Saba Pataudi has reacted to the controversy theories regarding the actor's speedy recovery, just days after he was stabbed by an assailant at his Mumbai residence. Saba who is a well-known jewelry designer shared a news report quoting a doctor who maintained it is possible to recover soon after a critical surgery.

Saif was grievously injured after an intruder entered his Bandra residence and stabbed him six times before fleeing. The actor was rushed to a private hospital where he was treated for nearly a week. The doctors had issued a medical bulletin stating that the actor had six stab wounds and also had to undergo emergency surgery to repair the leaking spinal fluid, as per PTI.

However, a video of Saif Ali Khan walking with ease after the surgery surfaced leading to widespread speculations about his health with many claiming that the robbery incident was a PR stunt. The Maharashtra Ports Minister Nitesh Rane also doubted the authenticity of the hospital's claims regarding Saif's health.
