Mammootty recently interacted with the media during a press conference for his latest release, 'Dominic and the Ladies' Purse', directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon. Interestingly, the press meet was held after the film's release, and Mammootty shared the reason behind the unusual timing.

During the press meet, the veteran actor explained, "Normally, we hold a press conference before the movie hits the theatres, but this time, due to health reasons, that wasn’t possible."

He elaborated further, saying, "I had a small fever at first, but it turned into quite a high one, which delayed the press conference. Even now, I’m not fully recovered, but I came here hoping to meet all of you warmly."

Mammootty also addressed the media with a specific request: "It’s best to ask questions in a way that doesn’t spoil the movie for those who haven’t seen it yet.
In the film, Mammootty plays the role of CI Dominic, a detective who, along with his assistant, portrayed by Gokul Suresh, works to unravel the mystery surrounding a missing purse.
