One of the most talked-about moments in the film is a gripping scene featuring Zarin and Anaswara. Reflecting on this sequence, Zarin highlighted the importance of establishing a connection with co-actors during such emotionally charged scenes. She shared that she and Anaswara had formed a strong bond, which enhanced their performance. Zarin discussed this in an interview with Manorama News.
“When you are so involved in a scene, you need to have a connection with the actor you’re working with. Anaswara and I shared that bond. We met for the first time on the first day of the shoot, but she messaged me after watching 'Aattam', saying she was excited to work together in a movie. That’s when I realised we were going to collaborate on a film. I was really happy because I’ve always admired Anaswara’s acting, especially in 'Neru',” Zarin said.
She further added, “'Neru' was released before 'Aattam'. The success of 'Neru' helped people accept 'Aattam' as well. I believe 'Neru' paved the way for exploring a similar topic in 'Aattam'.”
