Tovino Thomas’ 36th birthday came with a special surprise for fans—a first look at his character, Jathin Ramdas, from the much-awaited ‘L2: Empuraan’. Mollywood stars Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran shared the poster on their social media, along with warm birthday wishes for Tovino.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Mohanlal and Prithviraj unveiled the intriguing poster with the caption, “Happy Birthday Jathin! #TovinoThomas Power is an illusion! (sic).” The poster shows Tovino in a composed stance, dressed in a white kurta-pyjama, with his back to the camera.

Directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, ‘L2: Empuraan’ is the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster ‘Lucifer’. The featured Mohanlal in a commanding lead role and became one of Mollywood’s biggest hits.
The cast is as impressive as ever, with Indrajith Sukumaran, Manju Warrier, Saniya Iyappan, Arjun Das, Saikumar, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Sachin Khedekar, and Baiju Santhosh joining the lineup. ‘L2: Empuraan’ is set for a massive release in five languages on March 27, 2025.
