Aashiq Abu's hit movie 'Rifle Club' has locked its OTT release date. The film boasts of a stellar cast and revolves around a family shooting club set in the high ranges of Kerala. All hell breaks loose when an uninvited group arrives at the Rifle Club one day. The movie is Aashiq Abu's latest directorial after 'Neelavelicham', which was a remake of A Vincent's work 'Bhargavi Nilayam'. Aashiq is known for delivering superhits, including '22 Female Kottayam' and 'Mayaanadhi', and 'Rifle Club' is being celebrated as his comeback of sorts.

'Rifle Club' is headlined by Vijayaraghavan, Hanumankind, Anurag Kashyap, Dileesh Pothen, Vani Viswanath, Surabhi Lakshmi, Darshana Rajendran, among others. The film also marks 'Big Dawgs' fame Hanumankind's acting debut. In the film, Hanumankind takes on the role of Bheera.
Shyam Pushkaran and Dileesh Karunakaran, along with Sharafu and Suhas have written the screenplay of the movie. This marks the first collaboration between Aashiq Abu and this team since the critically acclaimed Mayaanadhi. The film is being produced under the banners of OPM Cinemas and True Stories, with music composed by Rex Vijayan. Aashiq Abu has also taken on the role of cinematographer for this project. The movie will start streaming on Netflix from January 16.
