Aiswarya Rajan has praised her sister and actor Anaswara Rajan’s performance in the film 'Rekhachitram', which has opened to positive reviews in the theatres. Aiswarya said the movie and especially her sister's performance as Rekha Pathrose moved her to tears.

“Dear Anaswara, the girl I saw on screen was nothing like any other 22-year-old I have seen. I could only see Rekha on screen. The movie was so amazing that I wished to watch it again. Emotions like sadness, happiness, love or surprise seemed nothing like I have experienced till now. Everything seemed different. She deserves all the praise and applauds,” wrote Aiswarya.

Aiswarya also congratulated the movie’s director Jofin who managed to pull off the unthinkable. She is glad that her sister too could be part of such a fabulous movie. “You struggled hard and your path was not easy. You deserve all the praise you are receiving now. If you had given ear to criticisms aimed at you, I wouldn’t have been able to shed tears for Rekha. Cinema surely has something in store for everyone – an admirer of Rekha Pathrose,” Aiswarya concluded. 'Rekhachithram' directed by Jofin T Chacko who previously helmed 'The Priest' features Asif Ali and Anaswara Rajan in the lead.
