Music director Rahul Raj’s mother passes away

N S Kunjunjamma, mother of noted music composer Rahul Raj passed away. In an emotional note posted on his social media handle, Rahul said his worst fear has become a reality and added that he is struggling to cope with the situation.

“My mother has passed away. This was my biggest fear and it has happened now. My mother is no more in this world. She was my greatest strength and anchor. Her boundless energy, incredible yearning for knowledge and quest for adventure was unparalleled. My mother had touched countless lives with her selfless love and caring. She was my critic as well as my biggest supporter. In her last days, she had the good fortune to receive lots of love and prayers from her loved ones. Most of them cried in her memory because she had always been closely connected to their lives. My world has gone dark and the sky has lost its charm. We still can’t cope with the reality that she is no more. My mother’s memories and her incredible life journey will now become the beacons that lead me in my life. I am forever grateful to the universe for letting me born as the son of such a strong mother,” Rahul wrote. Many people offered their condolences to Rahul and posted messages of support and comfort.
