Actor Suhasini recently shared how both Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan have always held Mohanlal in high regard. She recalled an interesting conversation she had with Kamal Haasan, where she excitedly mentioned her experience of working with Mammootty. To her surprise, Kamal Haasan immediately asked, "Did you ever act with Mohanlal?" This conversation took place during an interview with Mohanlal, which was held around the release of 'Barroz'.

Suhasini further revealed, "Mani Ratnam, Kamal Haasan, and Ram Gopal Varma all admire you deeply. Did you know that Kamal’s favourite actor is you? When I told him about my excitement after working with Mammootty, he asked me if I had worked with Mohanlal. He told me that he was eager to see Mohanlal’s performance. I was 20 years old at that time, and he was 27. Even back then, he would praise Mohanlal saying, ‘What a performance!’ It turns out, everyone is a fan of yours."

'Barroz',  produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas, marks Mohanlal's directorial debut. The movie, which was released yesterday, has already garnered positive feedback from audiences in theatres.
