Actor Shane Nigam and director Jeo Baby, meanwhile registered their protest against the Ram Temple consecration by sharing a news clipping of B R Ambedkar's speech, which was published after the third reading of the draft constitution.

“Will history repeat itself. It is this thought that fills me with anxiety. This anxiety is deepened by the realisation that in addition to our old enemies in the form of castes and creeds, we are going to have many political parties with diverse and opposing political creeds. Will they place the country above their creed or above their country?

I do not know, but this much is certain that if the parties place creed above country, our freedom will be in jeopardy a second time and probably be lost forever. We must all resolutely be on our guard of this eventuality. We must be determined to defend our independence with the last drop of our blood,” said Ambedkar in his speech.
