Hyderabad: The journey of the mega-project 'Brahmastra' starring big names such as Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt and directed by Ayan Mukerji, will begin with the presentation of the four south Indian versions of the film by S S Rajamouli.
The 'Bahubali' director announced on Saturday that he will be presenting the film in four South languages of Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam worldwide.
The magnum opus of Ayan Mukerjee, which is an epic amalgamation of inspiration from Indian mythology and the modern world, is one of the most anticipated movies of 2022. The motion poster has already gone viral. The first part of the trilogy is headlined by Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. The couple is sharing the screen space for the first time that too along with Nagarjuna Akkineni, Mouni Roy and Amitabh Bachchan.
“I’m truly glad to come on board and present 'Brahmastra' to audiences worldwide in the four south languages. The concept of 'Brahmastra' is unique, which reflects in its story and presentation. In many ways, it reminds me of Bahubali - a labour of love and passion..." said Rajamouli on the occasion.
Meanwhile, Ayan Mukerji said that Brahmastra is a dream he has been nurturing for years." I have given this film everything and I will continue to pour my heart into this. I feel blessed to have an amazing mentor like S.S. Rajamouli sir come on board," he said.
The music of the movie is composed by Pritam.
'Brahmastra', produced by Fox Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus and Starlight Pictures will be released in cinemas on September 9, 2022 in 5 Indian languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
