The film industry is showing signs of revival with a slowly receding Covid scourge and a set of mega flicks ready for theatre as well as OTT releases this Christmas season.

'Pushpa', starring Allu Arjun and Fahadh Faasil, Antony Varghese-starrer 'Ajagajantharam', Lal Jose venture 'Meow', 'Kunjeldho', 'Djibouti' and the English movie 'Spiderman: No Way Home' are the major theatre releases.

As OTT platforms are awaiting keenly anticipated new movies like Tovino Thomas-starrer 'Minnal Murali', Dileep's 'Keshu Ee Veedinte Nathan', Joju Geroge film 'Madhuram' and so on, recent theatre releases like 'Kuruppu', 'Marakkar: Lion of the Arabian Sea', 'Kaaval' and so will descend on the web for Christmas.

'Kurup' has already been released on Netflix and 'Spiderman' and 'Pushpa' will hit the theatres on December 16 and 17 respectively. Mahanlal's 'Marakkar' and Prashant Murali's Lalbagh will start their screening on Amazon Prime and ZEE5 respectively from December 17.
