The trailer of Mammootty's much-awaited historical drama Mamangam was released on YouTube on Saturday. And, it doesn't disappoint.

Going by the trailer, the film seems to have all ingredients that may satisfy not only the fans of Mammootty but those who admire him as a class actor also.

The trailer offers a sneak peek into the visually-rich and power-packed action drama that revolves around the historic event called Mamangam.

Directed by M Padmakumar, the screenplay is by Shankar Ramakrishnan. M Jayachandran has composed the music, while the cinematography is handled by Manoj Pillai.

Produced by Venu Kunnappilly, Mamangam had earlier courted controversy with Sajeev Pillai, who had started directing the film, being removed from the project.

Slated to release by 2019 end, the film is being made in Malayalam and will be released in Tamil, Telugu, and

Hindi languages.
