We had recently reported that Bigil director Atlee has been approached to direct Shah Rukh Khan for his next project. Now, confirming the news, filmmaker Harish Shankar, who was present at the Telugu launch of 'Bigil' mentioned about the same.
In a video that is doing rounds on social media, shows Shankar saying, “More than writer-director, I’m waiting for this as a fan. The news is coming out, I don’t know how immediately this will happen. Atlee sir is going to direct King Khan, SRK. Being a huge fan of SRK, I’m waiting for this combo so that I can also come to that function and see SRK. I’m a huge fan of King Khan. All the best for all your ventures.”
Atlee, after listening to Shankar's speech smiles and joins his hands in thanks.
While the official confirmation on the same is still awaited, reports are also rife that Atlee has demanded Rs 30 crore as remuneration for his Bollywood directorial debut.
Earlier, it was said that SRK will be seen in the remake of a Vijay film, but the makers refuted those and stated that Atlee’s untitled project with SRK will be an original script, a complete action entertainer.
