Actor Dharmajan Bolgatty is known for his witty remarks onscreen. But his recent remark about the funds collected last year in connection with flood rehabilitation not being properly utilised is gaining a mixed response from netizens. While Dharmajan is facing cyberattack from a group of people for criticising the government, another set of people are supporting him for having openly said the fact which most people are scared to tell.

Dharmajan had expressed his views in an interview he gave to a private channel. Dharmajan said that even though crores of rupee landed in Chief Minister's fund last year during the August deluge, it equally did not reach the needy hands at the same pace.

The actor was speaking relating to the area of his residence, Varapuzha.

A group of netizens have even wowed to boycott his films after his remark. While some remarked that the delay in government activities was usual and there is nothing fishy in it, some are appreciating Dharmajan's effort to help the needy. He too had given away relief materials in the affected areas of Northern Kerala during floods this year. Amid that, he had also gone to Thrissur to hand over flood relief materials he had arranged. Dharmaja's business venture Dharmu's Fish Hub' is also playing a key role in facilitating the transportation of flood relief materials.

Dharmajan, on the work front, is working with director Omar Lulu movie titled Dhamaka. Omar had recently directed Oru Adaar Love starring Priya Varrier, Roshan and Noorin in the lead.
