Actress Anushka Shetty met with an accident while shooting for an important sequence for the film 'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy'. Reportedly, she had fractured her leg with the accident.
Anushka has been advised rest for a few weeks.
The film has been in the making for nearly two years and it seems Anushka's injury will further delay the shooting schedule.
Directed by Surender Reddy, the period flick is based on the life of Telugu freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, who revolted against the British in 1857.
Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy boasts an ensemble cast including Chiranjeevi, Nayanthara, Amitabh Bachchan, Tamannaah, Kichcha Sudeep and Jagapathi Babu in pivotal roles.
Produced by Ram Charan under Konidela Productions banner, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is all set to hit the theatres on October 2.
